Mrs. Abinah Abrebese came to us in Bewaki, Ghana seeking treatment for what appears to be a swollen forehead. Through the assistance of Dr. Achampong, a native of Ghana and an OID physician, we arranged for Mrs. Abrebese to have a cranioplasty surgery, a surgical repair of a defect or deformity of the skull. We made sure that she was able to get follow-up care post-surgery.

The Kelly family lives in Mount Peace, Hanover, Jamaica. The family's house was destroyed in the hurricane Ivan. The family consists of mother, father, and their seven children ages, whose age's ranges from four months to sixteen years. They have been living in this shack since September 11, 2004. Several OID contributed a nominal amount of $100.00, to help the Kelly family build a suitable living space consisting of one room 14ft by 14ft before the rain season begins. As you can see from the pictures of the old house, they did not have much to protect them from the elements. OID members were able to help build the Kelly family a new house albeit a modest house.
