ANTONIQUE HOLNESS

"OID's MIRACLE BABY"

Antonique Holness was only four months old when she was introduced to OID. She was presented to OID on the very last day of the June 2001 mission. She was diagnosed to have a "washing machine" heart murmur, from a large hole in her heart. Her enlarged heart prevented her body from providing sufficient oxygen for her body.

With the help of Dr. Streete and OID, she was able to receive open heart surgery, with a succesful recovery, to return home after her first birthday. OID has continued to support her medical follow-ups and funding for her schooling. Today, Antonique is a healthy and productive young lady who has excelled in scholastics and is living her very best life.
