Summer Class 2025

Mt.Hannah Resource Center

Summer classes were held from July 7 – 23, 2025 at the Mt. Hannah resource Center for students of the Mt. Hannah Primary School school community and nearby communities. A total of 26 students attended the program.

The main focus of the classes was reading. With the help of one teacher and an assistant, the students were guided through several activities that helped to improve their literacy skills. They learned letter sounds and sight words, practiced reading comprehension, and took part in drama activities. Students also retold stories and created their own stories, which helped them to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills.

The students participated well in the lessons and showed great interest in the activities. Each day they were provided with hot meals, which helped them to stay focused and ready to learn.

At the end of the program, the students were given a special treat. They enjoyed patties, cakes, cream, sandwiches, and many other delicious snacks as a celebration of their hard work during the summer classes. They were also presented with certificates of participation.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Streete and his team from OID for their invaluable support in making this summer program possible. Their contribution helped to provide a meaningful learning experience for the students.
